Parenting Coordinator Training

This 40-hour PC training is suitable for mental health professionals, mediators, and lawyers. Experienced family law lawyers, counsellors, social workers, family therapists and psychologists who have special training in mediating and arbitrating parenting disputes also require 40 hours of parenting coordinator training under the Family Law Act. Attending this 5-day training will satisfy the 40-hour requirement. No previous experience or knowledge of parenting coordination is required. The training will include discussions using case vignettes, audio-visual materials, demonstrations, and role plays.

Brain Development & Learning: Making Sense of the Science

All 34 talks are by invited speakers who are world-famous experts as well as terrific communicators. Bill Beardslee, MD, Chair of Psychiatry at Harvard, will talk about ways to help and support children when a parent is depressed. Michelle Chaban, Director and Founder of the Applied Mindfulness Meditation Program for Healthcare Professionals, Business Executives, and Educators at the Univ or Toronto will speak on “Listening is Perhaps the Clearest Expression of Love.”

Families Change: The Indissolubility of Parenthood
