Three of our Parent Coordinators /Mental Health Professionals who specialize in complex divorce and separation issues,will present on the difficulties of dealing with allegations of parental alienation and associated issues pertaining to parent child relationship breakdown. The attendees will:
- Gain more understanding about the origins of alienation, the dynamics and the causes for the breakdown and the rejection of a parent by a child, following a marital breakdown.
- Explore the role of the Parenting Coordinator when addressing the issues that arise from the Parenting Plan and Separation Agreements where there is a child refusing contact with a parent.
- Increase their awareness , understanding and resource building in relation to the breakdown of the child-parent relationship.This course will qualify for 3 hours of Continuing Professional Development Credits
