Samantha Simpson was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2011. Her career as a lawyer has been almost exclusively in the area of family law with particular expertise in disputes pertaining to children, including representing parents in disputes involving the Ministry of Children and Family Development. Having completed Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Social Work with a focus on clinical work with children, youth and families, makes Samantha particularly well placed to act as a Parenting Coordinator.

In addition to her client work, Samantha has taught Family Law at the University of British Columbia and regularly presents at various conferences including presenting several years at the National Family Law Conference.
